Hi, we’re Matt Wood and Paul Adams, local owners of Fixed at the Lake.

With both of our families having lake houses at area lakes, we started Fixed at the Lake to provide a trusted, reliable service for our fellow lake community members.

Our mission is to serve residents around Cedar Creek Lake, Lake Athens, and Richland Chambers by offering a concierge service that takes the stress out of maintaining a lake home.

Matt’s love of the lake began when he was just one month old and his grandparents bought a lake house on a small, private lake in East Texas. He began his career at Allie Beth Allman & Associates and was later one of the first agents to join Compass in Dallas. In 2020, Matt started a brokerage focused exclusively on the lakefront and land properties that quickly became the top-selling company at Cedar Creek Lake. He’s regarded as the foremost expert at Lake Athens and is a perennial top-selling agent at Cedar Creek Lake as well.

As a serial entrepreneur, Paul has been in the trades (namely HVAC, plumbing, electrical) for over 30 years. Currently, Paul serves as Executive Chairman and Founder of Columbia Home Services based in Dallas, whereby, they provide residential and light commercial contracting services to customers across 7 states. Fixed At The Lake was a natural fit for Paul to partner with Matt to bring an unparalleled concierge service to these lake communities.
